This policy explains what Rakshak may process, why that information is used, how access is limited, and how deletion requests can be made.
Rakshak is a Discord bot that provides security, anti-nuke, moderation, automod, logging, ticket, voice/J2C, utility, premium, AI, music, and server management features for Discord servers.
Rakshak follows least privilege. The bot is designed to request and use only the Discord permissions, data, and gateway intents needed for enabled features to work. Rakshak does not sell user data and does not use message content for advertising or profiling.
Depending on enabled features, Rakshak may process Discord user IDs, server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, message IDs, command usage records, server configuration, moderation and security logs, automod settings, ticket and voice settings, AI/chatbot interaction data where enabled, invite and member activity records, premium status or feature access records, and moderation or security event records.
Presence or activity data may be processed only for enabled features such as status roles, vanity role systems, streaming notifications, or status-related commands.
Rakshak does not intentionally collect Discord passwords, Discord tokens, payment card details, private credentials, home addresses, or phone numbers.
Rakshak does not collect banking information or payment card details.
Rakshak processes message content only for enabled features that require it, such as prefix commands, automod, spam protection, moderation filters, AI/chatbot channels, autoresponders, and security detection. Message content is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated analytics.
AI/chatbot interactions are processed only to provide the enabled AI feature or maintain related bot functionality.
Rakshak does not use user data, server data, message content, or AI/chatbot interactions to train AI models.
Where third-party infrastructure is used to provide AI features, data is processed only as needed to provide the requested feature.
Rakshak may use Discord privileged gateway intents when necessary for security, moderation, logging, automod, member event handling, command handling, message-based features, and server protection systems. Rakshak requests only the intents needed for enabled functionality.
Rakshak uses data to provide bot features, protect servers from raids and abuse, detect risky actions, apply configured moderation or security actions, manage settings, operate tickets, voice controls, utility systems, AI/chatbot features where enabled, music-related features, premium access, abuse prevention, and support.
Access to stored bot data is limited to the bot owner and authorized maintainers who need access to operate, secure, or support Rakshak. Where possible, server-specific information is restricted to users with appropriate permissions, such as server owners or authorized moderators.
Rakshak does not sell, rent, or trade user data. Data may be processed by trusted hosting, database, or infrastructure providers only when necessary to operate Rakshak. Information may also be retained or disclosed if required for safety, abuse prevention, dispute handling, legal requirements, or platform requirements.
Rakshak keeps data only as long as reasonably needed to provide features, maintain server configuration, support moderation and security logs, manage premium access, prevent abuse, or handle support requests.
Valid deletion requests are normally reviewed and processed within 30 days unless retention is needed for safety, dispute handling, abuse prevention, legal requirements, or platform requirements.
Rakshak does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as home addresses, phone numbers, payment card details, or government identification. If a user provides personal information during support, access is limited to the people handling that request.
Users and server owners can request deletion of applicable stored Rakshak data. Include your Discord User ID, Server ID if server-related, a short description of the data, and proof of server ownership or authorization for server-wide requests.
Rakshak takes reasonable steps to protect bot data, credentials, and configuration. Bot tokens, API keys, database credentials, and private configuration values are not intentionally made public.
Rakshak operates on Discord and is intended to be used in accordance with Discord's own terms and age requirements. Rakshak does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary to operate Discord bot features.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Rakshak features, security practices, platform requirements, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted with a new last updated date.
