Rakshak Data Deletion

This page explains how users and server owners can request deletion of applicable data stored by Rakshak.

Required Information

  • Your Discord User ID
  • The Discord Server ID if the request is related to a server
  • A short description of the data you want deleted
  • Proof of server ownership or authorization for server-wide requests
  • A reliable way to contact you if more information is needed

User Data Requests

User data requests may cover applicable records connected to your Discord User ID, such as command records, moderation-related bot records, ticket-related data, voice-related settings, AI/chatbot records where enabled, contact form records, or other records stored by Rakshak.

Server-Wide Data Requests

Server-wide deletion requests must come from the server owner or an authorized staff member. This helps prevent unauthorized users from deleting important server configuration, moderation history, security settings, or premium status or feature-access records.

Discord Channel Logs

Some Rakshak logs may be sent directly into Discord server channels. Logs already sent into Discord channels may need to be deleted manually by server staff.

Retention for Safety and Abuse Prevention

Some data may be retained when reasonably needed for abuse prevention, bot security, dispute handling, investigation of harmful activity, legal requirements, platform requirements, or protection of Rakshak and other communities.

Processing Time

Valid deletion requests are normally reviewed within 30 days. Completion may take longer when a request is incomplete, cannot be verified, is unusually broad, or requires retention for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, or platform requirements.
